The estate sits right on the cycling route through Zeeland Flanders, on the Molenkreek. Grand Cafe El Molino — in our own windmill — is the natural starting point: park your bike on the waterside terrace, charge your e-bike at the free charging point, and reward yourself with the famous apple pie made from our own flour.
Choose the coastal loop to the North Sea and the Waterdunen nature reserve, or the polder loop along the creeks and winding dikes — both bring you back to the estate. Route maps are ready in your suite and we are happy to share tips for the way.
From the estate you ride straight into the polder or out to the coast. Together with Grand Cafe El Molino we mapped out two loops — both starting and finishing at the estate, both flat and quiet. Charge your e-bike for free at the windmill and take the route map from your suite.
The coastal loop along the North Sea, the beaches of Cadzand-Bad and Nieuwvliet-Bad and the Waterdunen nature reserve. Mostly paved cycle paths — comfortable and ideal on an e-bike.
Through the inland along the Molenkreek, winding dikes and part of the Euroroute R1, via the fortified village of Retranchement and monumental Groede. A little longer than the coastal loop, but just as flat and quiet.
